A Truly Awesome Feeling

It was a truly awesome feeling to actually find an Elder Scroll. Evaliir Srinna was almost afraid to touch it but she reverently removed it from its container and gently put it in her bag. She'll heed the warnings about not reading it lest she go blind and she'll deliver it safely to the one who asked for it.

Honestly, as I reached for it, it struck me what a special moment it was. I just love this game. :tes:

What I found awesome about it, wasn't so much the scroll itself, but coming across the giant contraption that the Dwemer built so that they could actually scry the thing.

The Dwemer weren't a particularly benevolent race, but holy crap, the ingenuity they had.

I guess I just dig Dwemer lore... and I like the way Skyrim presented its particular chunk of it.

Also, you get to snag an Elder Scroll in Oblivion, so... yeah.

Uncle Pain, I agree about the Dwemer ruins, just love doing those. I never saw an Elder Scroll in Oblivion that I recall; I suppose that's why it felt so special in Skyrim. Was it in the Thieves Guild or something in TES4? :tes:
