Truly Beautiful Things to do in Skyrim

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 6:41 am

This would not be an Elder scrolls game if it did not look great. So what are your favorite pasttimes based on how beautiful it is?

Mine is shooting hawks above the Solitude docks at night. (I use spells, but you get the idea) The starry sky, the flying hawks, and ships, water etc. It all is so nice.

Um, the setting may be beautiful, but slaughtering innocent creatures who do nothing but look pretty and fly overhead is...

Well, we all have our opinions on beauty I suppose.

Hey. Nothing wrong with shooting virtual creatures with fireballs. I'm gonna try that, that is if I ever get home from Christmas shopping. What is it with women and Christmas shopping? *sigh*

Us guys just get what we want and go. :D

I'm female. I haven't "gone" Christmas shopping in over ten years - since my fav stores (Cabelas, Vermont Country Store, and Amazon among them) began to have really useful online catalogs. I actually haven't done anything other than grocery shopping (and picking up the cheap clothes I live in during summer at wally world) for at least that long. I HATE bricks n mortar shopping; I'd even order groceries online if I lived somewhere they delivered. *sigh* I don't....

OT: I don't kill stuff under the stars and moons - I have a favorite rock I sit on and take screenshots whenever there's something really gorgeous out there.

Running through the forest near falkreath early in a foggy morning, the green on the vegetation is brilliant and my favorite area to look at

I like looking at the mist around the mountains. And I gaze at the moon at night.

I love this game.

Going north of Winterhold, out into the ice fields and just swim or climb. There's something about the perpetual dimness an blowing wind that really strikes a cord with me.

Running around the mountains in the highlands around Riften, especially off to the west of Riften. On a misty morning, it's just absolutely gorgeous.
