How do the skill points actually go up? I've made a ton of potions and not one point has been added. (Of course 'ton' being relative.)

The skill goes up according to the value of the potion. Making one 3 ingred. potion worth 300 is worth piles of cheap 2 ingred. ones.

Is there anywhere I can get recipes for said concoctions? :)

Two seems to be all the ingredients I can find. Knowing what to look for would be awesome.

I thought it was related to the number of affects the potion has (which admittedly determines the price so this is nit picking). Basically the more affects your potion has then the quicker you level. To speed this up you can eat raw ingredients to learn more of the effects they cause. Say you have 2 ingredients where you only know the restore health function. Eating them raw will unveil their other functions which can then be combined with other ingredients for more complex potions. Or you can combine ingredients together at random (or with known first affect and then a random ingredient) and hope for the best. Or look out for recipes.

Or of course you can just google search good combinations to try.

Oh an other thing that increases levelling speed are Thief Stone & Rested from sleeping and Alchemy Fortification. IE the more +skill you got the faster you level the skill (so if you got an +Alchemy items wear them).

I dislike Alchemy, I prefer Alchemy in Oblivion.

But I like Enchanting better in Skyrim.

There is google in Skyrim? I have been to all the cities and have yet to see an internet cafe in anyof them, lol.
