Trying dead is dead for the first time

.....and really enjoying it! Only a couple of hours in, RPing a nasty skinny little orc who cares for noone but himself, no real back story other than he's not a very nice person. No fast travel, HUD off and have to eat/sleep. Got lost but just stumbled across Falkreath, no real aims other than to survive in the harsh world that is Skyrim!. Wish him/me luck....

I tried dead is dead twice, both times I died at the same spot.

Coming out of Sky Haven temple, and falling off the cliff straight out of Reman's marble head.

I'll try Dead is Dead after I'm through with my current character. And when I do, I think I'll turn off the hud so I have an extra-difficult time getting around in the world. :-)

I'm thinking about trying it myself, it should make the game much more exciting. I'd be playing on adept for that though.
I worry that a melee character would get killed easily, especially by dragons, the finisher where they grab you by the mouth and throw you away happens so frequently to me.

If you're going the route of a savage orc then you should make sure to turn off invincible NPC's, they will put a stain on your immersion.
