Name: TUPAM - The Ultimate Power Armor Mod
Category: Gameplay Effects and Changes

NOTE: You MUST follow the install instructions EXACTLY every time, even when updating or it can cause damaged stats if any stat changes were made in a revision.

Description
===========
This is a complete power armor overhaul. What this mod strives to do is balance all power armors in the game while making them extremely worthwhile. The vanilla power armors were weak and a great disappointment so I upgraded all power armor in the game. Note, this will also increase all NPC's armor, so they will be harder to kill.

Note, this mod requires NVSE and Enhanced Vision and Thermal Vision beta.

Notable Changes
===============
1. Removed power armor training requirement. You can now wear power armor without having the power armor training perk, however you will receive an agility penalty in addition to a perception one.

2. The power armor training perk now removes some of the agility penalty from your armor. It will also activate the advanced targeting function increasing perception by 1.

3. Almost all power armors are cross compatible for repairs in addition to being repairable with scrap metal and other various items and armor.

4. All power armors now carry themselves when worn in addition to increasing your carrying capacity. When not worn they will weigh you down.

5. Night vision, thermal, and threat vision added to all appropriate helmets. Activate by pressing the backspace key and cycle through modes with the + and _ key.

6. Water breathing added when helmets are worn with their lore appropriate compatible armor. This is become it requires the helmets seal properly with their suits.

7. Added multiple ways to obtain Power Armor Training. See the spoilers section for additional information.

8. Lore appropriate armor names.

Spoilers
========
I have included 3 Power Armor Taining Manuals throughout the world. Without giving out too much information, they can be found in the following locations...

1. On a dead paladin in Blackrock Mountain

2. On Veronica.

3. On Arcade Gannon.

NCR Ranger Veteran Armor can be found in 3 locations...

1. Ranger Station Alpha.

2. Camp Forlorn Hope Storage Shed.

3. Camp Golf Main Tent.

Install
=======
1. If you are wearing power armor un-equip it. Save your game and quit.

2. Enable TUPAM.esp

Note, this mod requires NVSE and Enhanced Vision and Thermal Vision beta...

http://nvse.silverlock.org/

http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36731 You only need the .esm file for the Enhanced Vision and Thermal Vision beta, do not install or use .esp file as it will overwrite

the TUPAM-NV data.

Update
=======
Same as install procedure.

Uninstall
=========
1. If you are wearing power armor un-equip it. If you have a power armor training manual in your inventory remove it and save your game and quit.

2. Disable the TUPAM-NV.esp.

Incompatibility
===============
This mod will not be compatible with any mod that changes power armor stat. If you are using

FOOK or Arwen's New Vegas Realism Tweaks load this AFTER them so it can override their data.

I got it to work! I think the problem was that I was using hardcoe mode, and that the script to open the battery menu is broken. When hardcoe mode is off I can turn on the vision modes, albeit with slight button lag, but when it is on I can not open the battery menu.

Alright that is an issue with the ThermalVision.esm make sure you are fully updated and if so post in his comments section regarding the issue as he is the one who did all the scripting etc.
