Turning into Werewolf (Companians) - Able to turn back to no

Post » Wed Jun 27, 2012 10:30 pm

I have got to the point where you meet the Companians under the Skyforge to be transformed into a Werewolf. I have done it in the past - only for the file to get corrupted and load but not save but that another story.

Anyway ...

What I am asking, is it possible to get rid of it, once you done it? As when I had it, I found it to be - rubbish - unless thats just my game play (Most likely the latter ... but hey)

Any ideas/help??

If you become a werewolf, after the first transformation, all future transformations are at your discretion. You can decide to never turn into a werewolf again, and you will get the option to cure it permanently. Once you cure it you cannot become a werewolf again, unlike Vampirism.

Edit: If you don't want any hassle even from your first transformation, turn around and go back through the undercroft's door and go out through the opening that goes outside the city.

Ahhh ... cheers I may turn into Werewolf then later on tonight
Is there many Companian quests after the werewolf one?

And ... side topic but as you mentioned it, and just incase it happens, if you turn into a Vampire, how do you cure it?

There are many quests after becoming a werewolf. including the means to cure yourself. without much detail the same method you will use to cure Khodlak(sp) can be used on yourself.

No resting bonus when sleeping but immunity to vampirism and other sickness is a nice perk. most of my characters are werewolf just for that reason.

You can cure Vampirism multiple times. Becoming a werewolf will also cure you of Vampirism, if you are one. You can also cure the disease that turns you into a Vampire before you become a full blown Vampire (these are all options for the game without the Dawnguard expansion, btw).

For instance I was a vampire who joined the Companions and became a werewolf. Then I was cured as a werewolf and went and became infected to become a vampire once more.
