I'm in the process of buying a new TV to use as my monitor.

Because of my room size constraints, I wouldn't be able to use the keyboard/mouse while playing Skyrim and will need a gaming controller. Does anyone have any opinions about 1. which brand/type I should get, and 2. playing Skyrim on a controller as opposed to a keyboard/mouse.

I've always been a keyboard/mouse gamer, so the transition may be rough. Any advice?

I just bought the 360 controller with a USB receiver. A bit overpriced, true, but I LOVE the 360 controller and it's been worth the price-especially when used with xPadder.

Can't comment on the transition, though, since I've never played skyrim with a keyboard and mouse(my wrist KILLED me back when I was playing OB and MW, so I've vowed off of the keyboard and mouse on TES games).
