Is two world 2 worth buying

Title says it all really, could people who have played it give me their opinions on it. I want something on my ps3 to tide me over till skyrim is released and I thought it looked ok but then read some really bad review but also some pretty good ones(angry joe and a few others). So yeah all opinions welcome and thanks in advance :) Edit: and if you can't recommend it could you please recommend a good rpg I should play preferably one on ps3 or one that will run on a pc with an i3 processor and a [censored] intel HD graphics card

If it's anything like the first one you're probably better off stabbing yourself in the face over and over.

It's way better than the first, not worth full price though. I got it on the summer sale for pretty cheap, it's decent.

I've heard the magic system is pretty good, but that's about it.

I enjoyed the PC version. Obviously it's nowhere near being in the same league as TES as far as open-world RPGs go, but it's still fun for a good 30-40hrs+ if you can overlook it's flaws.

Definitely a big improvement over the original. The graphics are nice, it has a cool crafting system and a reasonable amount of customization, and the multiplayer is also kind've fun. The main flaws for me though were that the story was very generic, it really lacks originality and tends to mix a load of cliches together rather than coming up with anything original in terms of lore or art design, the voice-acting / dialogue is poor (though amusing at times), and the world sort of feels empty and not really worth exploring a lot of the time (although a couple of the towns are really nice).

If you can get it reasonably cheap and keep in mind that it's not the kind of game that's going to blow you away, i'd definitely recommend it.

Tip - Don't listen to IGN, don't listen to people who base their opinions on the original game, and don't listen to people who expected it to rival TES.

If you're getting one game, and one game only to tide you over until Skyrim, don't make it this one.

I preferred the first one, personally. TW2 is more polished, but felt like it was lacking the imagination and sparkle of the first outing: the original felt more immersive, diverse and just "bigger" to me whereas the second one seemed too conservative. I suspect they spent a little too much effort on tackling the much criticised (and hilarious) voice acting of the first and not enough on making it captivating. It looks pretty, though.

I played the second game...for about 2 hours. It felt like a B movie. I would not recommend it.
