Quick question:

UESPWiki says on the Sneak skill page that two-handed weapons get a 2x damage modifier for sneak attacks and that with the backstab perk this goes to 3x. Is that true? I really freaking hope it is, but I never got a damage modifier with a two-handed, much less a 3x one....

Does not make sense. If true, why would they do this?

I've done it quite a few times, but I think it just applies to the wep that hits first.

2x sneak attack bonus, 4x with shrouded gloves or jester's / cicero's gloves. Combine with something like http://pix.playground.ru/download/gallery/276634/a088febdcb595f5c9a0cc21fb4831664.jpg and yay. Two-handed sneaky assassin.

I would be surprised to say the least if this was the case, seeing as two handers have a much higher base damage.

Pfft, with the blade of woe in one hand and mehrune's razor in the other you can do some real sneak damage. With the right perks and shrouded gloves you get x30 sneak attack damage.

so blade of woe damg = x
bsmith improved is x+y
backstab damg is (x+y)*30*[armour of mob reduction]

2h damg is a
bsmith improved is a+b
backstab damg is (a+*3*[armour of mob reduction]

so basically if the damg of a 2h is 10x that of the woe ( dagger vs 2h so possible)

then the 2h will do more damg. also note -> daggers don't gain damg from +1hand damg enchantments/perks on gear but a 2h will gain from a +2h enchantment/perks

So is there a 2H stealth kill animation? Please let there be
