Oh yes nothing like a power craving manchild racist coward who cares about nothing but himself and windhelm the ONLY town that likes him other then the jarls that he puts in charge and makes the dark elfs live in such a [censored] hole dungeon the argonians live outside of the city as almost slaves and not even allowing my cat people into the city, nothing like a guy who thinks he did a good duel with the high king and did nothing but shout once and put a sword in him oh did I forget the fact he could command his boys to say *hey this guy isnt one of us so could you let him go and not cut his head off*,The empire are good they have to deal with the thalmors BS but they could be attacking them instead of dealing with ulfric manchild and his band of racist short eyed morons who care about nothing other then talos and their own race.

I think his weird-ass clearly not quite american accent says otherwise. Unless he's supposed to be like Christopher Walken or something.

It would be cool to have armor and robes made from confederate flags. The General Lee would replace Shadowmere. Uncle Jessee would replace Ulfric. Daisy Duke would replace Lydia. Since there is no six in the game, it would still be cool that she's my cousin.

Interesting...

Let's see... There once was a man who...
  • ...lived in an empire that all but lost a war and faced severe capitulation terms.
  • ...was a discontent soldier from a remote, somewhat secularist region and came home bearing a grudge against the weak government.
  • ...was obsessed about a world conspiracy against his people where an ethnic group he despised was pulling the strings.
  • ...rallied the masses with his charisma and his speeches about how a land should be ruled by its own people.
  • ...started a rebellion in his home region.
The man's name was Adolf Hitler.

There once was a country who...
  • Insisted that it had the right to rule over its neighbors.
  • Enforced that rule with violence if necessary.
  • Believed it had superior values that gave it said rights.
  • Interfered in religious matters, usurping them for the benefit of the state.
  • Believed their rule constituted a glorious empire that would be the salvation of humanity.

This is fun.

Well done JOG you brought nazis into it. Sad.

Also, the point you attempted to make, since Hitler was a horrid little man, is utterly lost since A) a good few of those could also apply to the forming of the United States and B) Ulfric didn't imagine a conspiracy it was real.

Relating anything to Nazism is the ultimate strawman argument, you damn Nazi.

Also, I see what you did there Celan, and I approve.

This is fun.

Yes, and the interesting thing is I don't have any idea whether you mean the Roman Empire, the British Empire, the Russian Empire, the Prussian Empire, Soviet Russia or Nazi Germany.

History is written by the winners, and it's in the nature of any empire to favour the core citizens. But there are too many parallels between the Stormcloaks and the Nazis in the 1920's to be ignored. If you agree with them, you might understand how the Nazis could come to power without every German being an inhuman racist.

Yes, because every fictitious character is in some way American or has some links to America!

Next you'll be saying that the popular mythical character Jesus was born in New York.

ahh...another thread goes into the "ulfric V empire" argument.

i dont know why people even bother to argue on the subject, isint it clear that beth delbritly made a very too-sided argument on the matter? the way i see it, both sides ( as beth intended) have both good points and bad points, both have good people and bad people, both can show the very worst ( windhelm and helgan) and also the very best.

i used to argue this poitn until i realised its a circulating argment with no side clearly better than the other

It would be more like the empire is the Yankee Union & the Stormcloaks are the Rebel Confederates. This anology would make more logical coherence in the world of Skyrim Players.
