I know its a known issue just saying....I eventually just had to torch the white gloves to get beyoond the beef done the bathhouse seems to cause the freezes...

I had exactly the same issue on my second run through. Game locked up every time 4:30 came to meet the NPC in the steam room. Watch him walk in and total lock up. My save game was so close to the time he arrived that I had to leg it out of the pool area before he walked in the room to avoid the lock. I then had to go rescue without following the quest guides and ended up on a mass killing spree of everyone in Ultraluxe - just to get out of the effing building alive.

I meant luxe there not luze lol :facepalm:

I really hope this issue is fixed in the most recent patch. There's a "mod" out there that fixes the issue, OP.

I heard that but have not tried the mod yet because of the new patch.....if the new patch does not fix it then ya ill grab it. Just saw the patch notes no mention of that quest......

There is a fix on new vegas nexus. For those squeemish about mods, it just changes the water height variable for the bath house map. The vanilla water height was causing the crash.
