Unable to get Honeyside

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:35 pm

Ok, so I decided to get the home in Riften. Right now, I am level 13 and have only completed the College quest line. I've not started any other quest line at all. Not even the first MQ entry. It's been nice running around without seeing any dragons.

Anyways, I've done the skooma quests, and helped many people in Skor's Stone as well as Iverstead. I've also done some work for the Jarls mage and and some others in Riften itself. I've had no contact with the TG or anything.

So I think I've done way more than needed to get the home- yet I am not getting the option. Anyone know how to trigger it? Do I need to advance something else? I don't want to, yet, if at all possible.

To be sure: from whom are you trying to buy it? It should be Anuriel, the dark elf.

Also, is Wujeeta (the Argonian who starts the skooma quests) still alive?

I don't know if Wujeeta is still alive. I originally gave her the potion and asked her for more info and then left.

I've asked both the Jarl and the dark elf. I've even done a few bounty quests for her.

First of all, did you clear out the skooma cave before the Jarl told you to? That can screw things up pretty good.

If not, did you see the dialogue option "Is there anything else you need, my Jarl?" or something to that effect talking to Law-Giver? That should initiate the ability to purchase Honeyside once selected.

No, I did not clear the cave out, first.

I have not seen that option from her, yet.

I just realized- I didn't kill the last caged wolf in the cave. Let me see if that does it.

Unless the quest is still in your Miscellaneous window, I doubt that's the case, but good luck to you.

Nope.

Damn. I don't understand. I even followed the wiki on this so I wouldn't glitch it.

I was under the impression that if you helped anyone in the Rift, it counted. So I had been helping all around- not just in the city. But I've taken to helping them, too. Right now I an collecting ingredients for the apothecary's helper.

It finally happened. After I collected all the flowers for the helper.

I'd done almost all quests for Ivarstead, Skor's Stone, several bounties, and helped several other people in the area. Why I had to run this one, i have no idea. Oh I also did Book of Love quest and got married. Geez.

Anyways. I've the home, now.
