I haven't been able to load the ck for 2 days, is there a problem on my end or is it down at the moment?

I used it yesterday with no problems.

What happens when you try to launch it? Does it show any error message?

Verify the cache integrity on steam, it happens to me when I switch between langage versions of Skyrim, but I suppose it could also happen without doing that.

It wont load if you try to load while downloading patches. Like if you were switching between 1.5 and 1.6beta. Gotta wait for the dl to finish. Not exactly your problem, but a heads up.
