Uncommon Tastes

I found this book of cooking recipes at Warmaiden's in Whiterun. The ingredient list and preparation instructions seems realistic. Are these real life Recipes? I not, where Do I find milk, butter, and flour?

Maybe. Does it state amounts of the components?

I'm actually tempted to pick it up ingame and read it if it does. Wouldn't mind some good ol TES food.

I can cook, and have a signed copy of that book from a certain quest, and the recipes seem legit. I obviously haven't tried them, but they do use real life cooking techniques, like double boiling.

Yes it does, except for the flour......says to add a "flagon" of flour or something.

A flagon is a real amount, you could make it then!

I can cook too, which is why this was unexpected.

Yeah, I was actually expecting them to be the in game recipes, not real life ones.

And where'd the chef get onions? I've not seen any onions in Skyrim.

They are imported specially for The Gourmet.
