Unexpected benefit from vamp attacks

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 7:42 am

After losing Adrianne a few times to vamp attacks, I stopped fast traveling into cities and started fast traveling to the stables instead and walking the rest of the way.

Initially, I thought this would be a pain, but then I found an unexpected benefit: now I run into the Kitty-Kat caravaneers all the time and so can off-load some stuff on them before heading into the town. Plus the Kitty-Kats usually have large numbers of lock picks in case I just lost a bunch trying to open some master lock.

I could have done it before, but I didn't until the vamp attacks started up. Now I may just go ahead and do it all the time, regardless.

Adrianne has been the only casualty for me as well. Though I still get attacks on the stables. Usually death hound raids.

You should try walking / running every where( or go by horse back ) it adds more to the game IMO. You have more random encounters, see more stuff etc...etc... plus it helps with the vampire attacks.
