Reptile and Kitana, for all time favs.
But in the new game Kitana and Cyrax are my main. Starting to main Sektor, too... he can deal out some serious damage.

My mate knows ALL of Cyrax's moves off by heart in the new MK and he kicks ass!
All time fave would probably be Kitana. Favourite in the latest one would be the DLC character, Skarlet.

Why do people like Reptile so much!?

He's the last lizard man of his race who eats people's head, spits acid, and can cloak himself. (For some reason being sneaky is huge on this forum so him being able to cloak himself is already a big bonus to him.) Plus, look at the way he fights. It's completely uncoordinated yet it works.

Anyway, I personally like:
-Reptile
-Ermac
-Reiko
-Quan Chi
-Kabal
-Hsu Hao. (I may be the only person in existence who likes him. Screw the haters, Mongolian Cyborg for life.)

That thing is god awful.

More on reptile: He's also a ninja. The internet is absolutely obsessed with ninja's. Case in point: Tremor. A big muscly ninja in a brown get up that controls the earth. He was in that terrible special forces spin off featuring jax and sonya. Fan's have been demanding him to be put into the game ever since he's been known. Every other character from that game the fans hated but Tremor on the other hand absolutely must be put into a proper game for some reason.
Not to mention a while back on a different forum there was a poll asking if every character after mortal kombat 4 had been introduced as a ninja, would you like them more? The answer was an overwhelming "yes". The whole reason Kenshi isn't hated is because he's a blind swordsman who happens to resemble a ninja. Pay no mind to Mavado, a guy with a completely unique fighting style, or Fujiin, the god of wind. Neither one of those guys look like a ninja and therefore are terrible apparently.

Kung Lao and Nightwolf are also pretty cool. Kung Lao has the coolest fatality in MK9

Scorpion used to be my favourite but I played him to death and got a bit bored over the various games.

I noticed a flaw in Rain's water powers.

In Sub Zero's ending in MK9, he and Scorpion work together to pwn the Lin Kuei. So, if Sub Zero threw an ice ball and Scorpion set it on fire, it would create water. :facepalm:

Any of you guys played as Rain?

I've only had Rain for a few days, so I haven't gotten used to him yet. But I really like his skill set so far. I think he's more powerful than people realize upon first play.
Not as easy to learn as others.

I noticed a flaw in Rain's water powers.

I don't see what that has to do with Rain...

But since it's, like, mystical ninja magic... you gotta just go with it.
Besides, Sub and Scorp working together makes for a great story concept.

My least used in MK9 is J. Cage and Shang Tsung.

Question:
Who have you Mastered in MK9 so far? (I mean specifically, having fully "Mastered" them in the Nekropolis profile)
I have Kitana and Cryax... but still need like 10 hrs each on Jade, Ermac, Noob, Sektor, Kabal.
This 24 Hour milestone is a real annoyance!

Favourite character: Sub-Zero, not the Bi Han one, I mean his younger brother Kuai Liang. I love his story and how he was betrayed and almost turned into a robot, and thanks to MK9 we get to see what would happen if he was captured.

Character mastery: None.... I want to play this game so bad.

MK2 is the best MK game.

MK2 online on Ps3 is the peak this series will not surpass. The harder they try with graphics, new fighting system etc.. just makes it worse. Mk2 was perfection. From then it was all downhill.

MK2 is great.
But have you played MK9 yet? (MK 2011) It's nothing like the terrible 3D games that they wasted so many years making. It feels very classic, with great gameplay and balance.
I don't see why any MK fan would be disappointed with MK9. :toughninja:
