Update game automatically? - Checkerbox

^ title. My game is working properly atm, so I don't want patches screwing it up more, as bethesda obviously have problems fixing their own mechanics : )
Thanks

Took me about 10mins to find it. Right click on the game name via the library. Goto properties, it'll be under the "updates" tab.

Dont count on it.

Every second or third time i turn on steam its reset on "automatic".
Dont know if certain files are write-protected and i just can "really" change it, or steam is a [censored].

Yep the feature doesn't work. Never has. Better of using "offline mode".

don't see why you would want to turn off auto updates tbh, but it's under the updates tab.

If you're really set on keeping the fresh off the press version, just use the offline mode, like suggested above.

As far back as I can remember that setting has never worked properly in Steam. They don't seem to care too much about it, they should just take that option out if they are never going to fix it.
