Urgent: Dual Flurry repair?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 12:06 pm

My question is regarding the bug revealed after fully upgrading the One-Hand perk "Dual Flurry" (2/2).

After maximizing this specific perk, a bug keeps players from swinging their two weapons at a normal speed, and results in a slow-motion animation.

Are there any known repairs or anything to fix this bug? I'm a big fan of Skyrim's dual wield feature, but I am unable to take advantage of it due to this problem.

Thanks.

As far as I know the weapon swing speed is dependent on the off-hand weapon speed. That is a dagger off-hand will dual flurry faster than an axe off-hand. Ive never had a problem with the dual flurry speed on my character.

I'd just like to know why dual wielding power attacks with 2 daggers are slower than any other combination of weapons.

It's freaking daggers, it should be quick.

There is a slow-down bug like this that occurs from the blocking perk quick reflexes. I had it a few times and the way I fixed it was hitting quick save a few times. Sometimes I might even have to reload. Just roll with 1/2 for the time-being and wait for the patch if you're having issues. It's probably something that will get fixed in the next patch or two.

I hope so. Is there any word as to when the next patch will be released?
