Isn't it possible to use the numeric keypad in Skyrim?
When I try to remap the keys I get the message that they are reserved!
I am left-handed and have always used the numpad for movement.
This is the first time I've encountered this in an rpg, and it's ruining the whole experience for me

I'm pretty sure i've already read a thread about it here in the forum... check the unofficial buglist (http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1331118-unofficial-buglist/), however i'm quite sure it's not possible to use numpad in this game.
Perhaps some mods (or the upcoming 1.4 patch) will allow numpad usage.

Yes. I don't know why they don't sticky this issue, there are dozens of buried threads about it. You can search the forum for "keybinding," there's a keybind fix on the Nexus as well, but that's largely an edited controlmap file.

If you're comfortable with config files it should not be a problem, search here for the keybinding issues threads.
