Vamp Lord Flight

Why the heck is this considered flying? I don't get what purpose this serves? Why couldn't we get actual flight with certain limitations on it?

same reason mages don't have the spell levitate any longer causes major game messup like getting stuck in cave roofs. bypassing puzzles in some areas just to name a few

OP, so much win.

The game has been designed in such a way that flying would break a whole lot of things.

Why the hell do you think they removed acrobatics?...

I didn't know that was why they removed it. Personally, I have never had a problem with acrobatics when it was in Oblivion.

It was already heavily toned down in Oblivion.

its been a while so I could be wrong; but I seem to remember being able to fall from comical heights without fall damage, plus being able jump my way up the side of a mountain.

That was without spell buffs. With the right spell, you could jump the entire continent.

They would need to put invisible walls in many places for it due to the cell based world.
