Vampire and Ring of Hircine

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 2:54 pm

I recently read that when you get the ring of hircine before your cured of lyncanthropy you can transform when you become a vampire. I also read that when you do this you wont get attacked at stage 4 which would be great, so does anyone know if this is true and if this would conflict with the dawngaurd perk tree or not.

You're not getting attacked at stage 4 regardless.

As of now, in the game you do.
With Dawnguard (or the patch, not sure) stage 4 won't cause everyone to go crazy. They save that for when you transform into a lord.

If you've aquired the Ring of Hircine prior to curing yourself of lycanthropy, yes you'll still be able to transform into a werewolf if you're a vampire...However,you will no longer be able to feed as a vampire.Stage 4 you will still currently be attacked by npc's, this will change in Dawnguard.

I'm on XBox too, but I don't think it'll be overhauled in the patch. At least, I didn't read it when they posted what they would put in 1.6.

Im fairly sure it's when you install dawnguard that they don't go crazy anymore [about time the townsfolk learned some manners >.>]
