Vampire Armor Helm

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 3:36 pm

I just started the vampire side of things and was wondering if as a vampire will I end up with a chance of getting the heavy Dawnguard helm? It really matches the vampire armor set, both light and royal, same with the dawnguard gauntlets.

When you kill a DG member then you will be able to take their helm

Nice, I tried the Shrouded hood as mentioned and now I think I like that better the the DG helm. Has anyone tried the Nightingale hood? I imagine it looks nice with the armor as well.

Any of the guard helmets look great with the regular vampire armor.

I found two pairs in the vampire castle. As you walk in from the front door turn left, you should see a table with a body and a skeleton on it. Go up the little flight of stairs at the end of the table, when you go the little fight of stairs you should see a little balcony looking out over the main hall. There's a desk there with two pairs of gloves

Where's the balcsmith in the vamp castle? Is on the right side of the main dinning hall? I only just started my fanger and haven't explored the castle much. And seeing how I caught a senior fangers attention... do you just talk to the hell hounds to take them along like the DG dogs?

The slieve of the armor over laps the gloves very nicely

You still get those beady eyes while wearing the Nightingale hood, or do the vampire eyes show threw? I'm guessing it stays as the beady eyes.

I like how bethesda makes all these perks that only work when wearing light armor in every slot or even matching set so the perk works. Then dosen't even give you a complete vamp outfit. You should also be able to buy all faction armor unenchanted so enchanters can you know, enchant them.

i use aethorium crown.
makes my vampire look more royal with vampire royal armor.

I use this as well.

My concern is for the Light Armor Perk tree. There's several Perks that only give a bonus if you have a complete set, and I haven't even gotten into the "Matching Set" Perk.

I assumed that the Perks have no effect with the Vampire Armor sets as there is no dedicated Vampire Helm/Hat/etc... can anyone confirm/deny this?

mm...did not think of using the DB shrouded hood...that will go nicely...yes... been using adept hood...but the colour is a lil off .. got the atherium crown i think its called...does the effect only work if you wear it, or can you wear it, activate a stone then toss the thing in the river? and im having regrets killing off entire holds as a VL...guards an essentials are all thats left...save Falkreath...which for some reason im really attached too...

I think a light armor dragon priest mask would work well with the grey vampire armors. That is if you don't want to see your vamps face.

After a lot of comparing I've decided that the hood Serana wears is rather similar to the Thieves Guild Master Armor hood.
