I think that the vampire disease really svcks. It is way too easy to get and getting rid of it is stupid. I tried talkin to falion guy, but I missed the ritual thing at dawn and now I'm stuck like this. I do not really want to join the Companions, but it appears it is my only option.

All i really don't like about Vampires in Skyrim is that they got rid of the cooler name "Porhpyric Hemophilia" and replaced it with "Sanguine Vampiris"

and that the sun doesn't Burn you it only makes you weaker o.o

How do you miss curing it with Falion?


It's hard to get the disease anyway with a 10% chance every time a vampire uses drain on you, not to mention you are warned three times before your vampiric powers awaken and you become a vampire. Didn't you see the the screen's visual effect when the warnings were displayed?

vampires are terrible, i will not change my mind untill the right vampires are in (the volknier)

I honestly can't imagine going without my 25% sneaking bonus as well as the necromage perk that amplifies any effect on me by 25%, including any enchantments and blessings as well as spells.

For me the vampire-related quests were just disappointing. Almost nothing compared to the vampire questlines in former TES titles.

it is the fifth age now, I am sure they have sufficient ways of curing vampire disease compared to the long time it took in oblivion and morrowind.
Still vamps should be burning in the sun and I detest being vampire anyway (utterly refuse to be one, nor a werewolf)

You are 200 years into the fourth era, where magic is shunned, Daedra are hated, the collection of Mages are falling apart, the Empire falling apart and all kinds of unnatural creatures are being hunted down by one organization or another (vigilantes of Stendarr, Silver Hand). So, no not really. The cure for Vampirism could be easier or harder then in the past, but that would depend entirely on the person giving you the cure.

What I do is that if I am infected by a Vampire is to make sure that I go to shrine as soon as possible and get cured before it has to be done by the quest.
