Vampire hunter class

I'm very hyped up for Dawnguard, I'm sure many of you are too, but I want to make a heavy role-play play through of the expansion, so I am curious if anyone knows what I should take as a Vampire hunter (Skills, weapons, etc.). Everything including a background story is set. Thank you.

I would recommend light armor, archery, sneak, and one handed(for daggers). Oh, and fire enchantments.
ALSO: You have a fantastic first name.

I reied making one, and am still unsure.

I think Range should be your main focus, with light armor(scaled) to be a bit more nimble.
Use restoration a lot
You can dual weild or use it with a shield (preferably axe)
some stealth abilities

Thats actually as far as Ive gotten, Its simply not my play style and I have a hard time sticking to it.

The alternative is just your typical warrior

I have a great RP for it and everything, its just not my style

Well, if you're hunting them, they've done you a grievance. There's a bullet point for your backstory.
As for skills, Destruction and specializing in Fire magic, and take up a weapon of your choice, preferrably one that allows decapitation on it's perk tree.

Would be surely funny to hunt them... I always loked the hunters better than vampires. In every case. So I will be a vampire-hunting werewolf, I guess :D

A true vampire hunter is also a witch hunter and does not specialize in useless magic.

If anything a true vampire hunter would use Archery, light armor, one handed swords, alchemy.

I'd say Archery for sure, Crossbows are the main weapon you're going to use. :D

Here is my variant on the old Witchhunter builds from Morrowind and Oblivion:

Main Skills:
Archery. - for crossbows and keeping true to the archetypal image of a vampire hunter
Restoration - turning undead and healing is always useful (think of your D&D paladins and clerics)
Enchanting - for fire enchantments

Minor Skills:
One Handed - for when ranged combat no longer works (perhaps focus on maces?)
Stealth - for skulking around crypts and stealth attacks
Alchemy. - fits the Witchhunter image and helps with buffs and poisons
Light Armor - keep it light for stealth

Personally, I might add smithing just for access to the dragonbone weapons coming out, but we will see.

Witch Hunter stuff pretty much. I did a Build on it back when we got that picture of Dawnguard.
