My character is kind of like the Blade of Skyrim and i wanted know what type of weapons would he really need. If there are people out there that dont know who Blade is look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blade_(film) . I use illusion magic to get into peoples heads. Restoration because i'm not purely evil. Alteration for mage armor perk because all i wear are robes. Conjuration for necromancy spells and perks.

Then i thought to myself: wouldn't a vampire hunter need some essential type of weaponry?

I was hoping you all could help me with that.

Good, at least you will be on equal footing with them in a way lol. Bring a resist fire and stay level 4 for your hunts feed on a unsuspecting traveller or sleeping victim to sell all your fallen brethren's belongings in town without being mobbed lol.

Right now i'm using a bow for long range if all else fails and a Lunar Longsword for close range if all else fails.

I rarely use the bow and the sword though.

Dawnbreaker is the bane of all Undead. Might be too much though

dual enchanted Blades' swords (katanas)

or just the Ebony Blade (but might be too evil if you're going for a do-gooder Blade vampire)

You only need a katana (flame and lunar enchant) and sunglasses.

Beast power,it just seems fitting for a character that battles vampires.
