Vampire lord - Sneaking, and melee base?

I thought since i will be using my assassin for the vampire lord, and it in a sense can keep a low profile, was wondering if you can sneak. Or if you can add a form of increased melee since the vampire lord is a spellcaster

From what I've read the Vampire Lord cannot sneak. For the most part the Vampire Lord is a spell caster form. The basic vampire is more suited for a sneaking character from the looks of it.

The vampire lord is like a werewolf, you play as a normal char until you wish to reveal you full vampire in all his horrible ( horrible in a good way) glory.

You do get a perk that adds twenty points of poison damage to melee attacks, but no, you can't sneak. Not as far as I know, at least.

As a vampire lord you can switch between 2 modes. 1. Walking and using melee attacks. 2. Hover above the ground and using vampire lord spells. (these 2 modes have been showed on E3 2012 gameplay videos.
Since there is a walking mode, you can speculate that you can enter sneak from there. Right?
