If the player becomes a Vampire can they still get married. If so are there any negative effects. I was thinking about stage 4 Vampirism, will my wife attack me on sight?

My husband is my follower, and he doesn't attack me on sight when I'm stage 4. He even defends me against any NPC who sees and attacks me at stage 4.

thats because he is ur follower, if ur in stage 4 while he's not a follower , they usually attack you.

If you get Dawnguard though, supposedly NPC's won't attack you anymore at stage 4.

People keep saying this but I personally believe this will only be if you complete the vampires side of things

Its after becoming a vampire lord, which may alter your normal vampire abilites.
