Vampire Necromage build help.

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 3:37 pm

After reading a thread about the Vampire Necromage I wanted to create one, so a few days ago I made my character, a Dark Elf but honestly have no idea what to do. From what I gathered so far I need Enchanting, Restoration, Destruction, and one other class, maybe Illusion or Alteration, Idk.

I have no idea where to put perks or attributes, I assume it's gotta be all magicka since the spells cost a ton of magicka but then my char will be super weak and not be able to kill anything which is gonna svck. I'm not all that big into Conjuration, I don't really want summons.

Also what spells and gear are worth getting at different levels, from like 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, and so on, I plan on getting to atleast level 50ish I hope, oh and one other thing, Sneak will be a skill I use often, but not too often, mainly for feeding and maybe stealing.

Any help is always appreciated and the reason I made another thread is because I wasn't really clear in my last one and no one agreed, one person might say do like 200 like and the other would say 300, then they'd argue on skills and perks and so on.

Thanks~

You don't have to be a pure mage. A crusader archetype can work just as well for example. You only need 3 perk points in Restoration to achieve Necromage. (Novice->Regeneration->Necromage) A 4th perk point in Respite is nice though for being out in the sunlight.

I was gonna get respite I read what it did this morning,
I'm thinking of wearing steel plate armor though, it looks cool and Ima need some defense, and they can get the same enchantments as Robes I heard.

i'm not sure which thread you read, but, hopefully it was the one created awhile back by the guy that first noticed how the necro perk affected certain stats.

there was another guy who noticed it later and started a seperate thread, but, he wasn't the first.

that first one (4-5 pages i think) has some great info and stats.

I'd go rogue mage and put Novice Resto > Respite > Regeneration and Necromage ofc but also Apprentice Resto and Adept... don't need to go further, that close wounds spell will fill up 3/4 of your health at least. Also I love backstab killmoves so, fully perked sneak, some good Destruction for Fireballs and Double casting Illusion to have fun with other people minds :D(note that you might need to pick the Illusion perks to level your spells, like animage, up to rage prolly) also investing on Alchemy is good to have a good supply of potions(mana and destruction/illusion mostly).
