Will there be robes for pure mage vampires in dawnguard? currently the best mage robes are the arch-mage robes but i want a pair of robes with the same stats as the arch-mage's one but with a cape and stuff.

not sure. Have not seen any yet and the beta testers have to keep their mouths shut because of the NDA

Ah, Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines, that takes me back. Any way, I hope so but I think the Black hooded robes make great vampire robes.

Yeah but im not particularly willing to give up the arch-mage robes awesome stats which is why im hoping for a re-skin but with a cape attached to it

Different strokes and all that. When you get to be such a high level and powerful, enchants are a bit superfluous any way. But hey, if it works for you then great!

Aye, this'd be quite nice. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of equipment vampires will get; my vampire necromancer uses robes, so I want something great.

That was Viktor, from the Underworld series. The Vampire Lord looks exactly like Markus, from the second one (http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/4/43212/1157852-4346012_gal_super.jpg) so it's not too far-fetched to see something like that.

I suspect that there will only be vampire armor like the one harkon wears which makes me sad because i hate wearing armor

I don't know why, but I am digging the Dawnguard armor! I hope it is light armor.

The armor does look cool but i rather have a robe because i won't be hindered by a movement penelty and since i only play pure mage charaters waste perks in 1 of the 2 armor trees isn't something i will do.

Thats the main reason i never wear any dragon priest masks but if that hood wasn't on the robes i would.

I know what you mean. The earlier level robes with the matching hoods look amazing. The expert and master robes just don't look anywhere near as good as those.

I really hope Dawnguard atleast has some new robes or clothes for enchanting.

Heh, yeah, my only vampire character is like a nightblade type. Sneak and stab and cast a mean Illusion spell while wearing light armor. She wears robes sometimes too though.

It would be good to have some good robes
I use full enchanted daedric armour but It means I won't be able to see my cool vampire face.
