Vampire should be improved

In the next update or DLC of skyrim vampires should be improved, one of the biggest flaws is you can only drink human blood and only when there sleeping, you should be able to drink animal and human blood when there awake , maybe a possibility is when there on the ground but still alive you can finish them with a bite to the neck, and maybe they can get a transformation like werewolf's called vampires rage where they put away there weapons away , there nails become razor sharp claws , run really fast and can bite people to get stronger and make the rage last longer, this can be used only once per night, and why do werewolf's get a guild and vampires don't? They should have a new area and guild called maybe something like the children of the night , Im not say that all of it needs to be added , just saying it would make being a vampire something actually enjoyably .

What about
  • As you've stated, more sources of blood, from Rabbits to Mammoths provide varying degree of Saitation and difficulty to acquire?
  • A Vampire "perk tree" with varying effects/powers Diablo style that lets you array what kind of vamp you want your char to be? a Vamp of raw unteathered power? one who is master of the Shadows? or one wreathing with Ancient Magicks
  • Vampire related quests? introduction of the -True- Volikhars?
  • Revamp of the vampire progression system? with Age you get stronger, with Blood you stay alive/can use your powers effectively and with quests you learn more powers and secerets?
  • The ability to Take over Lairs/Caves you come across and make it your base?
  • Adding to that, the ability to takeliving thralls and send them out on missions, turn them into Vampires or recruit other Vamps?
  • Another quest aside from the Vamp related Quest that involves the Vigilant of Stendarr as well as the Silverhand?

A perk tree for Vampires and Werewolves is an interesting idea. I would also like a way to become a vampire other than "go in cave, get hit by a pale guy".

The vampires and werewolves are very weak in this edition, but I tend to attribute that to the fact that time is progressing in Tamriel and those classes are gradually losing their power to the ages...

They need sun damage to. A proper drawback.

Yes, good point that would make it even to have these powers

I very much like the ideas presented here. The only one I have an issue with is the Elder Scrolls version of Renfield/Igor, though it would make sense in the idea that if they expand on what Vampires can do and their effect on Skyrim, that Vampire characters would be better equipped with a Vampire themed Follower.

I especially like the idea of three separate Vampiric Skill-trees. This would add an unprecedented level of depth and immersion to playing a Vampire.

@Bethesda: If you ever planned on doing more with Vampires, seriously take this post into consideration!

It doesn't seem like they were that fussed about putting them in this game in the first place, hence the reason they lazily copied an pasted the previous awful vampire system from Oblivion, and broke their own lore in doing so.

I do like your idea for multiple vampire paths. The info surrounding vampires in Skyrim only mentions one clan. A magically inclined sounding clan, and according to the lore, there are over 100 hundred vampiric bloodlines in Tamriel. To put two or more clans in to represent different playstyles(like in Daggerfall but esp Morrowind) is not asking too much at all. In fact, the lore demands it!

I would bet that if enough people showed interest in more vampire/werewolf content, Bethesda could make some dlc for it.
