Vampire...

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:54 pm

Hi all...
I need some desperate help... I have become a fourth stage vampire, and everytime I try to talk to Fallon, he attacks me... I have tried the Vampire calming shout (He's too high a level), I have used the Calm scrolls elsewhere, what else can i do to make him talk to me...

Please help, don't want to start all over again!!!

Feed on a sleeping human NPC. Everytime you feed you revert back to a stage one, allowing you to interact with NPCs again. If you don't feed regularly then you'll eventually become a stage four again and everyone will attack you.

If you have any trouble getting to someone to feed, use your invisibility power you get as a 100% vampire

Such a well thought out post. The degree of detail is staggering. That was almost too informative.

EDIT : OP the feeding thing will work. I prefer to play all my Vamp characters as Stage 4 100% of the time. You just need strategy and a high end calm spell. Note, that if you are S4 and complete a quest or favor for someone, like a merchant. They will no longer be hostile to you. UNLESS you feed and it resets, they will be hostile the next time you reach S4. Then there is nothing you can do but cast a Calm Spell.

Hi Diviner
How do you know that you've fed enough, as I killed and feed on six people, walked outside and the sun burn my skin... Is there a way of telling what stage you are at?

Cheers

You can only feed on sleeping people, not on dead ones.
To feed, you must crouch near a sleeping NPC and activate it. Instead of pickpocket choose feed.
Feeding does not break invisibility.
When you feed your vampire stage gets back to 1, regardless of what stage you are at.
So you only need to feed once.
All vampires are hindered by the sun, the stage just affects how much.
You can easily feed on people that live in farms outside of the cities, as there are less guards there.
Just travel to there at night.
There is also a fast travel spot that takes you to a mine not far outside Riverwood.
This is a nice place to travel to if youre a stage 4 vampire and need to sneak into town to feed at night.

The best part about vampires is the restoration lvl 70 necromage perk.
This perk makes all your spells more powerful against undead. And you are undead.
So when you take that perk -bam- everything the game considers to be a spell becomes more powerful.
This includes worn enchantments and potions.
All vampires already have more powerful illusion spells, and with the necromage perk youll be able to use illusion on just about every enemy in the game.

People that say vampires arent fun to play have absolutely zero clue as to what they are talking about.
