Vampires and Facial Deformity

Post » Fri Jul 06, 2012 4:05 pm

I've noticed that some vampires in Skyrim have some extremely strange facial deformities such as an almost piggish nose and other drastic facial features. Why is this? The Main Character doesnt get like this when he is infected. Can someone please shed some light on this?

Could be genetic deformities caused by inbreding from the vampires that live in those groups. I'm guessing they're very fanatical about their evil worships and practices, and try to keep outsiders away. That could explain why they look deformed. I'm sure the Vampire bosses in thier hideouts the are cult leaders.

Didn't you learn with your other thread? You have to use the Dawnguard forum lol.

Edit: Oh. Really? I didn't notice the deformities in the vanilla skyrim.

Why would I be on dawnguard? Vampires are in vanilla skyrim. There are no spilers here and its totally related to normal Skyrim.

You need to realize that the DLC effects parts of the base game. There are PC and PS3 players that do not want to know anything about it. They want to find out about all these subtle changes on their own.

Ha! Yes, there are some official videos and screenshots of them floating around, but the DLC is nothning short of a Vampire overhaul. As was stated at the E3. The Dawnguard forum is full of all the answers you will need.

I say the deformities stem from the vampiric powers, kind of similar to how the Sith in Star Wars start becoming powerful and their physical appearance start getting affected. That's how I like to look at it.
