I am an oldschool player (Fallout1, 2 and Tactics) but always fancied and wanted to try Fallout 3.
The reason I didn't was watching all the youtubevideos of the combat. I very much appreciate you trying to accomodate us old players with the RPG-system known as VATS but as it is now it gives you a considerable advantage over your AI opponents. Not at all like the system in for example Fallout Tactics.
Here, the enemies seem to be left in "Real Time combat" while you enter the extremely slowmotion combat type known as VATS. You get to aim and fire, often very fast and precise compared to your enemies. Sometimes you get out 10 bullets before they even get their gun up. How come it can't work as the Fallout Tactics combat? That didn't give you any considerable advantage except for the extra time in "paused" mode to choose the body part you'd like to aim on.
So please, either change this or make "real time" combat a little bit easier so that those of us who don't feel like cheating through the game are given a decent chance to complete it, thank you in advance.
Oh ans PS: While you truly made an awesome game and some great quests and atmosphere the easy way to gain trusts is just to easy. As if some random guy in a random pub would ask you to nuke an entire town just cause he felt he could trust you, common!
