PC version Sound.

Anyone else having this problem?

On the PC version, I can't hear the opening "war never changes commentary." In the game, I often can't hear an NPC dialog because its mixed in with background noise or music (I'm very greatfull for the subtitles!) I cannot make out most of what's on the radio stations. I have gone to the options screen and worked the audio sliders, but I still can't get the music, noises, and character voices to become distinct. I didn't have this problem with FO3, which I am also still playing, so its not my rig. What changed in audio from FO3 to FONV?

Nothing, as far as I know. Have you looked at your rig's sound manager?

If you have surround sound that supports Matrix mode disable it... i had it on and could not hear certain sounds such as footsteps, talking etc.. after disabling matrix mode on my surround sound it all worked out fine.
