Very faint light flutter

I have a minor issue but it can get really annoying, it is especially noticeable right as the game starts up and during loading screens, the lighting flickers constantly. It seems fine at night time and inside places, sometimes you can see it when a light source is present. Also not sure if this is tied into the same issue but certain times of day everything seems very dull orange in color, the entire world seems absent of any color until I go inside someplace, could be part of the game.

My system specs are in my sig and I run the game at ultra settings at 1080p resolution. I have tried the .DLL "fix" yet it makes things much worse, like the gamma is turned up really high and the sky looks horrible. I have changed the atimgpud.dll file to the 64bit version and it really helped things but the flickering persists.

I have tried searching but it always comes back to distant objects flickering, which I also have but it isn't very bad. Thank you for any help, I appreciate it.

if you used the dll fix, then it's normal. During the certain time period of a day in game, you will be experiencing this kind of situation.

I removed the d3d9.dll fix if that is what it is called, if you are referring to the dull orange color. That is the least of my concerns honestly, as it is the constant lighting flicker that is the underlying issue, again it is most noticeable during the opening and loading screens.

I ran into the same problem; horrible flicker in the loading screens / menu and in the game especially on the sky dome. The problem occurred when I had installed the drivers for my new LCD monitor and ran the calibration software. When I reverted back to factory defaults the problem disappeared. I couldn't reproduce the problem with any other game I tried, except Fallout 3 and Oblivion which use the same Gamebryo engine.

The monitor I have is HP Compaq LA2405wg.

Have the same problems... which I'm 99 percent sure are caused by the new ATI app profile for Crossfire :(
