I loved the hack and slash game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viking:_Battle_for_Asgard for the 360. I played and beat it twice. Reason? THEY HAD A GOOD THING GOING!!!!!! I mean ya it was repetitive, and the graphics weren't super totally awesome, but sega had a good thing going with that game. I mean-
- You could rescue all of your viking warriors from Hell's evil horde, and build up your armies
- You could go and recruit dragons to help you fight Hell's army
- There were levels where you actually had to sneak around and use strategies
- When the battles came they were freaking huge mob battles that you could die as many times as you wanted and fight as long as you wanted until you decided to end it by killing the shamans
- They had really cool boss battles, and even in the mob battles you could fight trolls, orcs, even generals!
- You were a BA Viking!!!!!!
Now the Downsides-
- Whenever you upgraded your sword, it didn't look any different
- The voice acting wasn't the best, but it was tolerable
- And yes it was repetitive
- The graphics weren't the best
But I mean if they kept going with it, and made more, they could've had a good game series going IMO.
Have any of you played it? Your thoughts?
