Video Card into Laptop?

Are you able to put GPU's into laptops?

I am looking forward to Skyrim.. and at the moment the only decent thing here is my laptop, but I would like to upgrade my video card (RADEON Graphics HD 6720G2 1GB) to something better.

I don't know if i can, and how to do it.

If it is possible, which card is the best for a laptop?

My laptop is an ASUS K53 with a AMD A6-3400m APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1GB 1.4ghz (Rated at 3.2GHz).
It's a quadcore processor and i guess it could support a nice GPU.

Thanks for the help!
I am seriously anticipating Skyrim!

This is why I avoid laptops for gaming. They do have some nice gaming laptops but those cost a pretty penny and upgrading is a pain with laptops.

Yes, as shocking as it may sound, laptops use GPUs too
No you can't put ordinary GPU into laptop
Yes, you need special laptop model (those are usually smaller)
Never replaced GPUs on laptops though

99.9% of laptop GPU's are soldered into the motherboard. The only laptops with some upgrade ability are Sager/Clevo and some of the Alienware laptops that have a MxM slot. Your current laptop is not bad a all and should be good for medium settings give or take a little depending on the resolution.
