Video Diary #3

what is http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p285/shimshamflam/FalloutNVgun.jpg gun? I don't recall ever seeing it in any other vids?

And with the top drum magazine... it looks like an LMG, but shorter...

That two-storied blue building might be NoVac, or something. Also like the architectural discrepencies in-game: settler era buildings alongside fifties-era ones.

Yeah, I noticed. I promptly edited it out before your post though. Anyways, cool-looking gun. Glad to see more variety in the automatic weapons department (LMG, CPSMG, .22 SMG, "GG", AC, etc.). Whereas F3 only had the AR, CAR, and 10mm SMG. There was also another gun on the back of a convict in some older video. Not sure what that was.

I had to go to bethblog, I'm not making a YT account to watch one video xD

Bravo Gstaff, Obsidian Team, and Bethesda and everyone else involved in producing these videos. Man I LOVE watching these videos. I dont know why, but 'behind the scenes' things always interest me :)

I liked the outfit of one of two women shown between 1:45-1:51. She had a spiked choker and chains on. Hopefully, the hokers and denizens of Gommorrah and the surrounding strip have as risque of outfits.

The setting looks better than FO3.The wasteland somehow looks brighter for me.
There was an objective to find a Broc flower and some Xander root.I wonder which quest that would be for.

Not a quest, but rather a craft recipe. I didn't watch the video though. But the Xander Root when combined with the Broc Flower creates Healing Powder.

In FO2 you could ask Hakunin to make it for you.

You could also give those two and a hypodermic needle to Myron, and he'd make them into a stimpack, which I hope we'll be able to do ourselves in New Vegas. Would be nice to use all those empty needles for something.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe, I watched the Dev Diary...

I am impressed, FNV looks very detailed and full of life.
Definately it will be way better than FO3, and it will be my new favorite game :)

But I have one problem, the wasteland looks too colorful. I hope it is just in the videos.

Oh man, this game looks really good.

And to be honest, the game looks good. Doesn't look state of the art, but it looks really good. And the Strip is much bigger than I imagined.

Definitely my GOTY, if it does indeed turn out to be good.

IMO, it looks worst then FO3... the graphics of course. Maybe it's cus I am used to the desolation and grey tones, and not this alive and colorful wasteland...

I'm sort of glad they didn't have any cheesy stuff...like one of the developers talking in a CGI desert or whatever...that was kind of painful to watch.

There was with Chris Avellone i think it was only once though.

Looking really good but I hope they still capture the feel that it is a wasteland as a few shots just made it look a bit of a lush and lovely place

Yeah,I hope they don't forget about the dark theme for a post apocalyptic setting. It doesn't look like that much of a lovely place but it doesn't look as dark as FO3.
