(I don't know whether this will be region locked but here it is)
There was a boat found in Ardnamurchan containing a dead Viking and his equipment, dating all the way back to 1000 AD. Cool stuff huh?

This is very cool. Thanks for reminding me of the similar Nord burial crypt in Morrowind.
I'm going to go play it now....it's been a while....lots of goodies in there.

Very much this. That was my favorite area in Morrowind and the one I most still think about.

I was thinking of the Nord crypt in Morrowind inside the maze where the body is laid to rest in the viking ship.

Apparently the boat rotted, but it says the rivets were found and enough evidence to tell what it was.

"Ardnamurchan" even sounds like a site in TES.

Sooo...
It took me a while to remember and find which club you get the Tukushapal quest from, but I made it now and saved at the very door !
Gonna wait until later this evening to go in .

It is indeed cool, and it makes sense as the vikings once inhabited and raided parts of the british isles.

@Ditre: They would also sometimes bury them with their ships.

A myth, unfortunately. Vikings buried people just like everyone else. :)
