Vilgilants of Stendarr

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 2:57 pm

I always see these guys walking about on missions and whatnot.
I even visited the Hall, but theres nothing to do there..

Curious if these people were supposed to have content in Skyrim?
Or they could be involved in an upcoming DLC?

Hmm.. hunting Daedra.

Yep, they should have been a joinabble faction. We really need a KOTN-style guild in Skyrim

I love them , they are my favorite faction.
I love the way they are obsessed with purifying everything.

I guess I'm a maniac of that too.

Possible I get a miscellaneous quest to find their HQ once, but then no further quest.

I would be perfectly fine with a KOTN sized addon focusing on the Vigilantes of Stendarr.

I was a bit upset by all the "hints" that there was going to be something more from them. Then... not so much.

There's a lot of dangling threads though. I thought for example that
Spoiler
you'd have a quest relating to the "last class" before you in the college. Turns out they're little more than interesting places/things to see.
Many quests also don't feel, finished to me either. Well, questlines anyway. The vigil is just another of those things that either "could have" been, or will be.

I'm hoping they "will be" finished at some point.

I too am a person of light and the nine divines, but I dislike the Vigilants I'll still choose them over Harkon Vampire faction though.

Personally I would love to see them expanded upon. Religious factions have always been interesting to me.

I agree.

Same here. I tend to be much more religious in video games than real life. I'm a fan of (most) of the available options in TES... even some of the "darker" ones. :)

There should be a radient quest like the dragon hunting for the blades, you should be able to invite followers to the stendarr and then hunt masses of deadra worshipers or vampires and such.

Good luck with that while I cut down every member of your pathetic group with my Daedric blade.

Not allowing players to join the vigil of stendarr was a huge Oversight imo. They don't even need a quest chain, just misc quests to save towns from daedra and have a vigilant follower. Oh well...
