Vista X64 D2d Version Owners Screwed? *possible Spoilers*

Hey there,Just wondering if anyone else is running into the same frustrations I have with this game. Let me just begin by saying that I really love the story and the game play can be very fun... that being said, I have a couple of major beefs as things currently stand. Here are my current specs:Intel Q6600 OC'd to 3.6GHz4GB RAM 5-5-5-15GA-EP45-UD3R (rev. 1.1)Windows Vista x64EVGA GTX 295And below is a brief list of the issues I've run into. If anyone has any suggestions for workaround for any of this, I would be greatly appreciative:1. All the sound in the game clips off before it's actually completed. For instance, an NPC that might say, "Help me kill these Deep Ones." would say, "Help me kill these..." and then it just cuts off. At least using subtitles helped get the entire conversation.2. The blue lights bug, this is a show stopper and after having completed the game on Private Investigator up until that point, I was forced to download another person's saved game just to continue on. Unfortunately that saved game was only at Boy Scout level, so screwed there as well.3. Shortly after continuing on with the other person's saved game, I ran into a really nasty inventory bug. Every time I opened my inventory it would draw the page extremely slow for no apparent reason. I would literally have to wait like a full minute or two before I could press, 'I' and actually clear the inventory screen and get back into the game proper. Later I discovered that if I click like mad to the right of your character's model, it makes a page turning sound. If you click several times eventually it goes silent, at which point you can make the inventory respond.4. And finally, the real show-stopper, I absolutely cannot complete the final escape sequence. I always die after I emerge from the cave and am running down the path and then up toward the second cave. Without fail, I die every time - I have never even made it into the darn cave. Things I have tried to get around the last escape scene bug:* Reloading to an earlier time and creating a new save after killing Hydra* Running the game in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode.* Lowering the resolution to 640x480 and turning off all antialiasing.* Using the unofficial DCotE patch from these forums, it does not work with the D2D version.* Replacing .exe with one from original game and using unofficial patch, also does not work - game crashes immediately using the non-D2D version of the .exe.So in a nutshell, I'm basically unable to complete the game and kind of annoyed with that. I love the concept, the story was great and damn it I want to finish it! I'm seriously considering going to D2D and demanding a refund, although not sure how much good that will do me. :cthulhu:
