Voice Actor from Battestar Galactica in FONV? : Fallout: New Vegas

My apologies if this has been mentioned already, but I haven't seen his name listed in any of the initial press releases. According to the Joystiq article below (warning - the article contains mild spoilers)

Doc Mitchell, the guy you meet in the beginning of the game is supposedly voiced by Michael Hogan who plays Colonel Tigh in the re-imagined BSG series.

Can anyone officially confirm or deny this claim?

I didn't recall reading that Michael Hogan, whoever that is, is in New Vegas, of course I also didn't know he was in Battlestar Galactica either, like I said, I don't know who he is. But I could believe this is the case, I believe I saw in another place that Obsidian has hired a number of renouned actors to do voices for New Vegas (Not just Ron Perlman either.) so it would not be much of a surprise to hear someone we might remember from elsewhere.

Not every celebrity doing voice acting for the game has been announced apparently, since in a blog post William Mapother confirmed he was working on New Vegas but wasn't mentioned in the Bethblog piece. So, while I would like to hear confirmation by a credible source, it sounds believable.

EDIT : And if the avatar doesn't make that clear, I wouldn't be against a couple of voices from BattlestarGalactica

It looks like a makeshift eyepatch made from a sterile wound dressing. They were the last remnants of humanity in the story, so they had to get by on what they had on-hand...

Ahh, Ethan from LOST, another one of my favorite series...

I think many of these other actors are worth mentioning even if they are playing "bit" roles. We are after all geeks and will recognize them immediately...

Hogan has done voice work for games before.....he and Tricia Helfer were both in ME2...so it wouldn't surprise me. He's good at playing crotchety old bastards.

He was the C-Sec security chief from what I remember.

Yes he is going to be in the game. Personally, I think Rene Auberjonois (Odo) voicing House is much more interesting. That and I'm also excited since Michael Dorn is voicing Marcus again.

Yes I do feature in this game.It was lots of work but the money was good and the booze was better...
