Hello Everyone,

First off a big thank you to everyone who took the time to post about the issues in FO:NV. After carefull consideration i decided to not buy this game. And vote for once with my wallet.

I loved FO3, but there were a few things that really annoyed me on the PS3:

- FPS drops, which sometimes slows down to 1 frame per 10 seconds. It's always during combat.
- Freezes, i have an old 60GB PS3 and my system has the occasionally freeze with some other games, but the amount of freezes i had in FO3 is way out of proportion.
- When the DLC came to PS3 in the USA, i had to wait almost an extra half jaar in europe. When it finally was available it made the above 2 points much worse.
- It always bothered me i missed some key figures in Megaton (like the sheriff and the one which you can trade scrap metal too). They problem was as i recall that these NPC's could fall through the ground and vanish that way. Now with all the reports off people missing, enemies (half) in the ground etc, i am little afraid i lose some key NPC to these issues. Since you can't repop these NPC on the PS3, i can see me getting really annoyed at that.

Now i don't mind giving a game a chance, but when i read that the same problems plague FO:NV it seems to me the issue is in the used Engine. It will also never be fixed (patched), because it was already known for F03 and basically during the development of FO:NV i think they didn't even look into this issue. It couldn't be fixed for FO3, so therefor with these issues still hanging around afterall this time, i don't think it will ever be fixed.

I also read somewhere that comming DLC is xbox360 exclusive (just like in FO3), so that's another issue for me. Don't really care for DLC but if it is good i want it to be available on the platform i like to play and not only on the platform from the company that pays the most. I know that's business and all, but it's not in my (the customer) interest.

Anyway, just wanted this off my chest. Normally i am not very busy on games forums, but i was really looking forward to this title. Like i said i really liked FO3 a lot. I am just very dissappointed about these technical issues.
Also i like to let the developers know that it's missed sale here, so i get added to the "right statistics".

Good choice. So far it's been really fun, but frustrating for the aforementioned reasons. Wait until GOTY. And wait until it's reduced by fifty percent.
