I'm playing on PS3, 1.5 installed.

I am level 22 and am trying to use the Wabbajack to level fix Aela. I get her out in the wilderness, dismiss her, then wabbajack her. EVERY time it is the same sequence of spells. Fire, ice, sparks, then she attacks. I put my wabbajack away, she withdraws and recovers health. I wabbajack her again and it's only the same spells. This sequence repeated itself the exact same way after 5 different tries.

I know it works on Lydia but I'm looking for better ranged support. Is this fix busted on Aela?

Alea is essential, it won't work on essential characters.

She is essential until you marry her or complete her Totems of Hircine quest or something. I think it's until you marry her, cuz my assassin married her and never did her quest and I can kill her.

I can confirm she becomes non-essential after collecting the three totems.
