Not sure about most of you, but I don't understand this piecemeal DLC release schedule. I can't really get into a "DLC" that much and just play the game for the tiny episode. I guess it has to do with playing in a huge open environment and then paying $10 to be confined to a small area for a couple hours. Is this really worth it to anyone?

Just release all the DLC as an expansion already...

I totally agrees with the op. I know this isn't really a Bethesda game, but I loved how Bethesda did the Oblivion expansion pack shivering isles, I thought it was better than the actual game, it was worth the same amount if not more than the actual game. Bethesda should consider doing it for Fallout 4

I agree. I have been itching to play this game lately, but holding off until all the DLC is released to start a playthrough.

See.. I saved my first run through character. Shes' done every quest and now has about 275 hours in. When I get the DLC I load her up and take her through.. kind of exploring my options and figuring out how to go through it..
When all the DLC's are out I'll make a brand new character and go through the entirety of the game again.

I've made lots of characters and done lots of other stuff but basically I'm just messing about before all the DLC's are here. Since each will raise the level cap and we'll get new perks and possibly new traits, I'm looking forward to using those in a brand new playthrough with everything available. Actually at the moment I"ve been messing about in F3 and playing FTactics a bit. (kind of think it would be really neat if they every came out with a new tactics.)

Playing fo nv anymore makes me wish for a nuclear winter. The DLCs are the only reason I have not went into early retirement. There is no way I could wait until they all come out.

When they all come out and I play them I m retiring from fo nv.

I wouldn't actually mind just seeing one big expansion pack instead of the four smaller dlc's, make it about ten to twelve hours long and charge maybe what, thirty bucks for it? I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

That would be less content than we get now DM and HH are easily 6 hours a piece. I'd rather get a few shorter stories than one that was slightly longer plus you get several very different and distinct areas with each dlc something you wouldn't get with a larger expansion. The dlc are fairly substantial you can sink quite a few hours into them pretty close to what a likely expansion would be but we get them sooner and we get more differed content I much prefer dlc to an expansion.
