....waiting for the game itself to be released.

Seriously, I can't remember waiting in anticipation for patch like I am now. Maybe it's just a sign that the game
needs a patch badly, or maybe I'm OCD. Sheez, when it does come out I may post a review of it.

Once that patch goes live (on Steam), I can finally play more of NV.

may I ask what miracles you guys expect from this one?

aside from enemies getting stuck inside terrain now and then I haven't encountered major bugs or other craziness (yet).

since the topic wasn't about a specific issue I decided to ask away. I mean I'm still level 10 or something and haven't progressed too far in the game. so if there are some major bugs ahead I'd really like to know. wasn't my intention to get a rise out of somebody with that.

Yeah at level 10 you wouldn't have encountered much in the ways of the bugs. As for hundereds if not thousands of us who are much father along this game has more bugs than "Uncle Milton's Ant Farm".

They said PC will be next week on Monday or Tuesday

I'm told it'll probably go up today. When I can confirm that, I'll let you know.

I believe the update you're referring to is for the Xbox.

I saw that one, even replied to it. I was just pointing out that the PC patch was possibly coming out today, but now who knows. But I can't find him mentioning anywhere that the PC patch will be out next week.

I saw Gstaff's post. English translation seems to be "Delayed indefinitely.", or it's just Valve dragging their feet as they sometimes do with other companies games.

How would you know? Do you have insight in what is keeping the patch from being uploaded, because I'd like to hear if you do.

Might there be some Steamworks or Steam community compatibility issues?

Regardless, if it wasn't a Steamworks title then that wouldn't be an issue with the patch. Theoretically, GFWL could have delayed it, but more likely it would have gone up as soon as Beth approved it themselves.

I'm not upset about it, but clearly it is being delayed by Valve.
