I want to befriend a giant

I'm just saying... If you can actually manage to
Spoiler
sell a goat
to a giant then it's plausible that you can be friends with one or maybe several. Would love to spend time chilling in front of their bonfire.

All that heavy breathing would make me kill him myself. BTW where are the female giants? I'd love to see one .....................

I tried to befriend a giant once, then I took a club to the head.

I also wish I could befriend giants, but they seem to think otherwise.

I ordered my companion to give a giant a big hug. Instead, she went flying 50 feet over a cliff face, splattering on the ground below.

If it's for a mod, I don't know but in game maybe there is a way to do it. I imagine that we can add a giant of our choice to the player ally faction by using this command:

addtofaction 0005A1A4 3

(the 3 represent the "ally" rank in the action) after having clicked on the giant? I'll give it a try once.

You can befriend pretty much any living creature you encounter. Just make sure you're not too close, when the, um... spell, wears off

Does the 'calm' spell work on giants at all? Never tried it.

If Frenzy works on them, so does Calm. But they cap at lvl32, so have the appropriate leveled spell if you're in that range.

Yeah, they can speak. You never really hear it in-gane though.
In Daggerfall you could learn yourself Giantish and they are the ones naming the Dwemer Dwarves, as they were the first race to encounter them.

Do that. It's an amazing game, if you can overcome somewhat repetitive side-quests and graphics.
You can easely use 5 hours in one dungeon, as they are so huge and confusing.

Tried it myself. Even took his hard-earned mammoth cheese. Neither he, or his mammoths raised an eyebrow.

I despise Giants. Ever since I saw a dead Khajiit among the wreckage of a coach near a giant's camp do I despise them. They only need to look at me funny and I go mad on them. They are hideous, mammoth-cheese loving creatures of evil. :swear:

It could have been near that dead Khajiit salesman, there was a notice that authorities negotiated with the giant and he was allowed to live here. Cititzens should stay away.

I'm not quite sure if I'd like to befriend them, they're rather friendly most of the time, but I have a feeling that they smell terrible.

This reminds me. On my first play through a giant was my first death because I wanted to talk to him. Good times....good times.
