I just came across an awesome website if you have a desire to learn about computer science, programming and all that. There's a drop down list at the top of the page where you can see about 5-6 different computer science topics and you can select different terms to see how the class has changed over time....or not.

Harvard University has put their course work online, well certain courses. You don't have to "enroll" and you can watch the lectures as many times as you want and it's all for free.

It's quite amazing! They have links to PDFs that have all the course slides and materials presented in the class.

The professor teaching the class is also quite an interesting guy. He's done a LOT with his life in a very short period of time.....check out his CV if you really want to feel like you're not accomplishing anything.

I love seeing things like this because when I was a kid, quality information and education was difficult to find without paying a fortune and spending years to get the knowledge. Now it's accessible online.
