It only shows your active posts, but I don't think you lost any...

Oh, ok... What about my avatar disappearing? Not that big of a deal, but I noticed others avatars missing too.

HeHe, I seem to have lost about 5000. It looks like the post count has been restarted since your last rank increase. Maybe this is just a start-up problem; I've also noticed some other kinks with links and such. A change of this scope is bound to have some transition glitches.

I think it only shows your active posts yet still retains your normal post count. I had about 4100 before the update. I would hate to be back at 2000.

If you look at my profile it says I have 5,819 "Active Posts."

If you go to the member list and sort by post count it says I have 40,240 posts total.

So it hasn't forgotten your postcount it's just displaying something differently in your profile.

If you click on "Members" (top right) then advanced settings and enter your user name you will see that you have 5,268 posts. They are still there. :)

If you click that little arrow thing next to your name, you get a profile summary including full post count. :D

Any idea on what "active posts" means? I'm assuming by month maybe.

Nerfed stars! Just what I always wanted! I don't deserve such recognition... I remember getting sooo excited over getting my first star. Now I feel like Daddy Warbucks just handed down the mansion and keys to the Rolls Royce.

It feels so weird to have more stars. Does this mean new ranks as well?

What is this I can't even tell with my small ass blackberry.

At least I can read the posts better now even though the background is white.

Just think of it in terms of inflation. Sure you have more stars, but so does everyone else, we all just got a fat stimulus check :D but you still got to work your way up to the new top dog level of stars, a whopping 11.

Layman - 0 posts (1 star)
Novice - 10 posts (2 stars)
Initiate - 50 posts (3 Stars)
Acolyte - 100 posts (4 stars)
Adept - 200 posts (5 stars)
Curate - 400 posts (6 stars)
Disciple - 1,000 posts (7 gold stars)
Diviner - 2,000 posts (8 gold stars)
Master - 5,000 posts (9 gold stars)
Patriarch - 10,000 posts (10 gold stars)
Archpatriarch - 30,000 posts (11 gold stars )

Why are you making such a big deal about posts? Really man, chill out, its a number that people online you don't even know rarely look at. What does it really represent to you? Some form of online prestige?

Judging by my performance, I'd say "posts that can still be accessed on the database". Through search, for instance. In my case, 35, since I post about two posts every two weeks here. I don't survive cleanups very well. :P

Alright, since this question has been answered, and there's plenty of general threads on the new forums, I'm gonna go ahead and lock it.
