I want to remove a dragons ability to fly

Post » Sun Jun 24, 2012 11:16 am

Hey, how would I go about doing this? I'd like it to be able to walk and attack etc. but not take off and fly away, because when it does it goes too far away.

Thanks

I would think that you would need to edit the AI.

Enter into the Character/Race menu in the object window, seek out the DragonRace you should now see General data tab, in it use the Movement box's Flies option.

That makes sense! Thanks!

Sorry, I tried it and it didn't work :/.. I don't wanna change ALL dragons, only mine, so I duplicated the dragonrace, but when I make a copy (and I've checked like 100 times that everything is 100% the same), the dragon doesnt show up, it's invisible, even though I've picked skin etc. :/.. could it be because of some scripts or something? What should I try next?

edit: solved it, thanks for the help

make a duplicate of the dragon ID. Then it will make a copy. Go to the copy and do this.
